Frequently Asked Questions

Q) How long does the whole process take?

The average driveway takes 2-3 days to complete from start to finish, but this can vary depending on the weather.

Q) Can I change the design?

You can change the design up to the point of briefing our preparation teams, no work will be started until you are happy with the design. Where needed, the quote will be revised in line with any changes made.

Q) How does the guarantee work?

Your insurance-backed, 10-year guarantee is active from the moment your installation is signed off.

Q) I have a steep drive, can I have a resin driveway?

Yes, thanks to a special primer, put down directly before the resin, which prevents any potential slippage of the resin as it’s laid. Plus, due to the anti-slip nature of our driveways they can be installed regardless of the incline and the permeability of resin-bound driveways ensures water drains away and doesn’t run down to cause a pool of water.

Q) What happens if the weather is bad during installation?

All the preparation can be completed in normal weather conditions, but the actual laying of the resin must be done in dry weather as rain can cause the resin to become cloudy.

Q) Will I have a main point of contact?

Yes, each project will have a dedicated project manager who will be your single point of contact throughout the whole process.

Q) Do I need to prepare anything or is it all covered by Sublime?

We cover the whole installation process, but we do need your driveway clear of items (like plant pots etc), and access to electricity and water supplies.
